Craig Mordock is a veteran criminal defense attorney in New Orleans, Louisiana. He has handled high profile cases including representing former American League Cy Young Award winner Denny McClain on fraud charges. Mr. Mordock’s practice focuses primarily on criminal defense, including DWI, sex crimes and white collar crimes. He is an experienced trial attorney in both criminal and civil matters, including consumer fraud and construction litigation. He also represents several of the largest bail bonds companies in the state, advising them on set asides, collections and general business matters. He is barred in all Louisiana State Courts and the US District Courts for the Eastern, Middle and Western District of Louisiana.

He regularly teaches CLEs on trial practice, DWI law, and expungements. He has appeared as a guest on Headline News and the Today Show and is frequently quoted as an expert in the local media on criminal law matters. He served as a legal analyst on ABC26 TV in New Orleans for their coverage of the Tom Benson interdiction trial. In 2015, he was named one of top 100 criminal defense lawyers in Louisiana by the National Trial Lawyers Association. He is also listed as a Top Lawyer in the Global Directory of Who’s Who. Mr. Mordock is a former prosecutor with the Orleans Parish District Attorney’s Office where he earned the first conviction in Louisiana for the crime of human trafficking. He is a 1993 graduate of Seton Hall University and earned his JD from Tulane Law School in 2000.He has been licensed to practice law in Louisiana since October 2000. In his spare time, Mr. Mordock’s community activites include coaching youth baseball and basketball.
